v16.0 includes the patched ’PtMumbai2’ variant of Mumbai and its associated executables.
Notably, it contains those for Smart Rollups – the new Tezos Layer 2 solution coming to Mainnet with Mumbai.

📦 v16.0 brings improvements to the baker in order to benefit from Mumbai’s pipelined validation and reduced block times.
👉 v16.0 will be the minimal compatible version if Mumbai activates, which would happen around March 29th if the community votes in favor of Mumbai.
