🔥 Hot out of the Oven: The Baking Sheet – Issue #283
This Week in the Tezos Ecosystem:
➡️ State of Tezos Q3 Report by Messari – Messari’s latest State of Tezos report offers an encouraging snapshot of the network’s progress. Layer 1 transactions rose 21.5% in Q3, DeFi TVL climbed to $45M, and Etherlink rebounded to $61M after a strong recovery. With over 28,000 smart contracts deployed and 229 active developers, Tezos continues to show steady, real growth across every metric.
➡️ Revolut Drops All Fees on Tezos Delegation Rewards – Revolut users now receive 100% of their Tezos delegation rewards. No platform fees, no deductions, and full liquidity for over 65 million customers. This move makes Tezos one of the most accessible staking options on one of the world’s largest fintech platforms.
➡️ Tallinn Governance Update – The Tallinn proposal has reached nearly 19% participation, clearing the threshold to advance. Bakers can cast their votes on a proposal that brings 6-second block times, full baker attestations, and a new Address Indexing Registry for leaner on-chain storage.
➡️ Etherlink Proposes Farfadet Upgrade – Nomadic Labs, TriliTech, and Functori introduced Farfadet, Etherlink’s sixth major kernel upgrade. It nearly doubles throughput to 27M gas per second, adds EVM Osaka support, and enables instant confirmations for sub-second responsiveness.
➡️ InfiniteInk Launchpad Opens to Everyone – InfiniteInk, the Tezos contract launchpad, is now open to all creators after a successful beta. To celebrate, the team will collect 3,000 tez worth of art minted on the platform this month. Artists can mint, list, and share their work to be featured at infiniteink.art.
